Explore history in Dasmariñas, Cavite

Museo de La Salle, located in Dasmariñas City owes its origins to the visionary Brother Andrew Gonzalez, FSC. His inspiration came in 1988 after visiting the Joven Panlilio House in Bacolor, Pampanga, where he was captivated by the bahay na bato’s restored 19th-century elegance. This visit sparked his dream of creating a museum that would not only preserve historical treasures but also support the university’s mission of promoting nationalism, history, and culture. This vision was brought to life with the expertise of renowned interior designer and Filipiniana consultant Jose Ma. Ricardo Panlilio, affectionately called Joey.

Museo de La Salle now stands as a testament to their shared passion for preserving Filipino art, history, and culture. Open to the public through guided tours, it serves as both a research hub and a showcase of 19th-century Philippine life. The museum’s collection, featuring intricate wood carvings, furniture, hand paintings, and artworks, offers a deep dive into the artistic and cultural heritage of Cavite and the Philippines.
